Taragápe is the new music project by Jeremy Colbert. Spirit Maze is the debut album to be released on 02-22-20.

The album Spirit Maze is a musical journey that interweaves through tonalities, emotions, spiritual musings, and deep reflections both personal and collective. It features the tranquil and inspiring handpan (inverted steel drum) in this case called a Terrapan (or, lovingly: Spaceship Turtleshell ;) as well as guitar and lyrical compositions that are heart-centered and inspired by potent inner/outer journeys and experience. (See cover video above for a preview of the song Tendrils resonating throughout the one and only Dragon's Den!)

Spirit Maze is musical medicine. Even its symbol, reimagined as album art by the incredible Visionary Artwork of Krystleyez, signifies this. The entire album is recorded in 432Hz as tribute to its mathematically divisible perfection and as exploration of the notion that 432Hz aligns with the natural frequencies of our planet.

Spirit Maze was recorded in Boulder, Colorado, produced by Dango Rose of Elephant Revival and Evan Reeves of the Elephant Collective. To learn more about the intentions and the creation of the album and the symbol, please visit the campaign page: https://igg.me/at/spiritmaze

The Dragon's Den is a brand new community space in Homestead (Pittsburgh) located in a beautiful historic site, the restored St. Mary Magdalene Italian Renaissance Church. Founders, the lovely Bill and Giulia Petrucci, have turned this gorgeous (and acoustically wonderful) space into a ropes course/zip line for youth! The Dragon's Den is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit providing transformative learning environments through the use of a suspended obstacle course and other innovative programs designed to teach youth of diverse backgrounds and abilities to overcome challenges in themselves, their communities and the world.

This album release will be a fundraising event for The Dragon's Den, which opens its doors summer 2020, and 18% of all ticket sales will go directly to support. You may donate additionally at the following link:

Come early to experience the space, be entertained by musicians, songwriters in-the-round from the choir loft, Hope Academy student performances, and circus arts performers throughout the church. Learn about the various community organizations that Taragápe is supporting, and enjoy local handcrafted and intentionally infused drinks from Empath Sober Bar & Social Events!

And, of course, the night will culminate with Taragápe's debut performance of the album in its entirety as a 5-piece ensemble featuring Jeremy Colbert (handpan/guitar/vocals), Matt Price (drums/percussion), James Bristol (double bass), Briana Carraher (cello), and Nashwan Abdullah (violin/fiddle).

Opening the concert portion of the night will be the wonderful Scott and Rosanna!

- Camille Zamboni (contortionist)
- Seth Leibowitz (live painter)
- Ishkaday (dancer, light/fire spinner & acrobat)

However, 8" x 8" prints of the original album artwork by Krystleyez will be available for purchase that include album liner notes as well as a unique digital download code! The symbol of the Spirit Maze is meant to be a meditation point for the music, and you are encouraged to take it home with you!

You can purchase the album prints/download at the event for $25, or you can save $10 in advance by purchasing the GA plus Art Print option for $35 (see above).

This event/show will be all ages.

The creation of this album has been a surreal journey many years in the making and is a true expression of my deepest reflections. I am honored to be able to share it with you, may it bring joy and healing reflection. Hope to see you on 2/22!
